My in progress 2008 projects

You may ask "Why a knitting blog?" Well, I decided that I need to start journaling the pictures that I have of my knitted items and I though a book would be great but with two kids under three I just don't see myself finding the time to order the pics, glue them down and write about them. Maybe in my 'less needy child years' I'll be able to scrapbook but until then this will have to do.

Here are the projects that I ahve started since the holidays have ended and I am trying to find sanity. (I will upload my pics tomorrow)

Tools:• Size 8 (5 mm): set of doublepointed needles (dpn) or 16" circular needle (cir)

• Size 10 (6 mm): 29" cir needle and set of dpn

• Markers (m)

• Stitch holders

• Yarn needle

Notes: I used Malabrigo Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool from ImaginKnits(LYS) in Loro barranquero 176 (lot 230419) which supposedly translates to "a brightly coloured parrot".
I can not start to explain how good this yarn feels and how rich the colors are. I am in love.

I also have some projects that have been requested but not started:

A skull hat to go with the DominKnitrix skull vest I made for nephew
Audrey Hepburn sweater from Hip Graphics for sister
and four afghans for middle sister
two scarfs for grandmother and friend.

phew! I'm exhausted just thinking about all of that.
